Abstract

This research aims to analyze the potential bankruptcy and financial performance of food and beverage sub-sector companies listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2019 to 2021.The research methodology used is quantitative descriptive method, with the object of research being five food and beverage sub-sector stocks. The data used is annual data for the period 2019 to 2021. The data source is secondary data obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange.


The results of a research on 5 (fuve) samples of food and beverage companies show that by with the Altman Z-score model from 2019 to 2021, it states that 2 (Two) companies are declared unhealthy with a Z-score value <1.1 where PT FKS Food Sejahtera Tbk is the company with the biggest potential bankruptcy while PT Nipoon Indosari Corpindo Tbk is the company with the smallest potential bankruptcy when compared to other companies sampled in this study. From the modified Altman Z-Score method in 2019 to 2021, an average accuracy rate of 53% was obtained when measured by the company's cash flow
