Abstract

ABSTRACT : This research is intended to analyze the effect of Earning Per Share (EPS), Price Book Value (Return), Return On Assets (ROA), and Return On Equity (ROE) ratio on company's stock price in the LQ45 index in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The research methodology used is quantitative method with panel data, which is combination of time series and cross-sectional data, using secondary data obtained from Indonesia Stock Exchange website, and Investing website. The sampling technique uses a purposive sampling method with annual data and the research period from year 2016 to year 2018. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression with normality test, classic assumption test (multicollinearity test, autocorrelation test, and heterocedasticity test) and t-statistical hypothesis test and f-statistic to test the significance of the effect together with a significance level of 5%. The results of this research indicate that partially the EPS, PBV, and ROA variables give a positive and significant effect on company's stock price, and ROE variable give a negative and significant effect on company's stock price. Meanwhile, simultaneously the independent variables EPS, PBV, ROA, and ROE have a significant relationship to the dependent variable which is company's stock price. Coefficient of determination from this research indicate a figure of 95% shows that the variation in the independent variables EPS, PBV, ROA, and ROE was able to explain the variation fluctuation dependent variable company's stock price amounted to 95%, while the remaining 5% is affected by other independent variables.
